THE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

Caisse de Depot et de Gestion (CDG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Moroccan Government.
Amongst their other responsibilities CDG invests Morocco’s pension funds and is one of the country’s leading institutional investors.
Last year alone the construction arm of CDG completed 50,000 individual dwellings.

Construction work on the site is due to start late summer 2006.

A GOVERNMENT BACKED PROJECT

The Moroccan Government’s vision of major increases in both tourism and foreign investment over the next four years is being partly achieved by zoning large tracts of (mainly beachfront) government owned land for touristic construction.
With building consent already given, fast tracking of licences and financial incentives for developers,
Paradise Golf & Beach Resort will be one of the largest of such government backed projects in Northern Morocco.

THE BANK

Groupe Banque Poopulaire is one of the leading banking groups in Morocco. They will provide much of the finance for the Paradise Golf & Beach Resort.
In addition they will also make all payments for construction and development of the project. Using the “Certification System” payments will only be made once the banks own technical experts and architects have visited the site to ensure that all work has been carried out according to specification.
Groupe Banque Populaire will also provide mortgages to purchasers at Paradise Golf & Beach Resort
where required. These, of course, will be subject to status.
Groupe Banque Populaire offer the full range of banking services including: cash points, credit cards, insurance, direct debits, internet banking, etc.
