The Moroccan Government’s vision of major increases in both tourism and foreign investment over the next four years is being partly achieved by zoning large tracts of (mainly beachfront) government owned land for touristic construction.

Atlantic Beach Paradise Resort S.A.R.L. is a Moroccan Company with both British and Moroccan Directors.

The Company has been selected by the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco to develop the site for the Paradise Golf and Beach Resort.

The Company has a Convention Agreement for both the site and development, signed by the relevant Government Ministers.

The developers of Paradise Golf & Beach Resort have successfully introduced numerous major Spanish projects to the British and Irish markets. Their expertise has been sought to achieve similar results at the Paradise Golf & Beach Resort.

* THE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY *

Caisse de Depot et de Gestion (CDG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Moroccan Government. Amongst their other responsibilities CDG invests Morocco’s pension funds and is one of the country’s leading institutional investors.

Last year alone the construction arm of CDG completed 50,000 individual dwellings.

CDG will be one of a selected number of Morocco’s premier construction companies who will be invited to tender for the building work at Paradise Golf and Beach Resort.

* THE GOLF COURSE *

Steve Ritson Golf Design has been chosen to design and landscape the Golf Course at the Paradise Golf & Beach Resort. Steve Ritson is a member of the Institute of Golf Course Architects and a BSC (Hons) in environmental science.

The company’s brief is to design a quality course suitable for players of all abilities. Current projects include: The Brookfield Golf Club, Kettering Golf Course and Le Meridien IBOM Hotel and Golf Resort in Nigeria. In the pipeline are new courses in the South of France and Mauritius.

* THE BANK *

Groupe Banque Poopulaire is one of the leading banking groups in Morocco. They will provide much of the finance for the Paradise Golf & Beach Resort.
In addition they will also make all payments for construction and development of the project. Using the “Certification System” payments will only be made once the banks own technical experts and architects have visited the site to ensure that all work has been carried out according to specification.

Groupe Banque Populaire will also provide mortgages to purchasers at Paradise Golf & Beach Resort where required. These, of course, will be subject to status.
Groupe Banque Populaire offer the full range of banking services including: cash points, credit cards, insurance, direct debits, internet banking, etc.

A new Branch of the bank will be opened at Paradise Golf & Beach Resort with English speaking staff.

* INVESTMENT *

Morocco is a kingdom and his Highness King Mohamed VI has indicated that one of the principal economic sectors he wishes to promote in Morocco is tourism. His aim is to have 10 million tourists annually visit Morocco by 2010.
